Can you get some antibiotics into this chick ASAP? My first choice would be Baytril injectable 2.27%. If you have Baytril tablets to mix with drinking water, I'd mix up some of that and syringe down the throat. If you have Tylan 200, you could inject 0.25cc subQ. Please keep us posted on your chick.

How does your chick look today? I'd hesitate to give more Baytril than you already dosed, but haven't needed this antibiotic for chicks for a few years. I only dosed them once and the problem cleared up. Can anyone help Wayne with his question?

Sorry you lost the little guy! Are the other 2 chicks you have greens as well? Maybe not a total loss! Sad

Sonoita Thank you

Its amazing how fast they can go down hill, Two days from chasing bugs to dying???
But I will keep meds on hand from now on. We have to learn from mistakes even though it can be heart breaking. I have one green chick left and the other two are whites.
Thank you for your concern
