I just don't see the "blue" on the back of her neck...in all but a very specific light it appears green to me.... anyone?

I am not sure my self, Mine looks similar and I was told mine was a spalding BS Hen. Yours turns more blue then mine.

It could be! Who knows...she was sold to us as a BS, but either way, I really like her. Just feel bad calling her one thing if its actually something else. She's mature, so...her coloring should stay about the same.

Mine also has more color on her neck, If I had to guess I would say yours is a IBBS.

Black shoulder is a pattern not a color, so it might be a number of colors but it IS a black shoulder hen. George
