My Peas Stay out in there aviary all night long, though Rain Snow wind hot cold no matter what they sleep outside, they will venture in during the day and hang out for a while and then it's right back out side. Is this normal? At times I wonder Why I even have a coop for them.

My peas also like to sleep outside, especially in better weather. Although they will also roos outside in bad weather. When i made more roosting space available inside the pen, many of them choose to stay inside on the roost when it is really cold. Mine are also free range and like to roost in trees and the roof of the shed/coop. I am not sure if the height makes them feel safer because of the unobstructed view or otherwise.

It rained last night and they are sitting on the roost outside, guess it is kind of like a shower for them.

Mine have never had a "coop" I think as long as it's somewhat enclosed on the sides and roof and they had a board to roost on they should be fine.
