Well you have several options as it were,

B/S Silver Pied carrying Cameo and Purple Male

how about a Cameo Silver Pied Hen or
a Purple Silver Pied Hen or
even a Cameo carrying White Hen or
how bout a Purple Pied White Eye Hen or
you could try Cameo B/S Pied Hen or
try a Purple B/S Pied Hen, better yet put a Purple B/S Pied
and a Cameo B/S Pied and a Purple White Eye Hen in with him,
I could go further, there are more possibility's
You stand to have quite a few color combination's with this Pied Fella.

O.K. this will make it interesting.

Males do really well with 3 Hens, any more and fertility starts to decrease.
any less and he really works them over, to much.
I would give him 1 India Blue Pied, 1 Purple White Eye,
and 1 Java Hen, which with the Java will give you Spauldings.
that should give you several combinations, remember this helpful hint,
it takes Pied, White and White Eye to get Silver.

I would try not to do away with the Blackshoulder pattern to begain with.So my first choise would be B.S pattern hens or split ones if i did'nt have them
Then i would make shure that those hens were pied or a carrier of pied or white But the white carrier hen will get you a bunch of white chicks. If he is a cameo & purple carrier those will pop out anyway THANKS TROY

Good ideas Troy,

Alexanderpeafowl said he had B/S hens, which will only give you B/S
chicks with the first breeding, they will be carrying the extra colors,
true enough, but, planning to breed them back to Dad would be at least
a two year wait. my suggestions were to simply give Alexanderpeafowl
plenty of color options for chicks. you are right Troy not to remove the B/S completely. by using the Purple and Cameo hens you will get Cocks of the same color, carrying the other colors, otherwise you will only get hens of Cameo and Purple. it is all up to Alexanderpeafowl, how many and of what sex he would want. lots of possibilities here. thanks Troy and
we wish you the best Alexanderpeafowl.

Keri, I only put 2 hens with my 2 yr old males, 4 with older males. Now with that male my first pick would be purple white eye hen.(could get purple males and females, also WE) White or pied hen, depends on how much you like white, pied will give you dark pied chicks, 3rd the BS hen. White hen out of blackshoulder pieds would be a good match.
