Thank you to Dianna & Bob for hosting the 2008 Convention in Wisconsin! This is the first UPA convention I have attended; and I had a great time! Finally got a chance to meet many members and learn some new info too.

For those that have not attented a convention yet- I would highly suggest it. I am hoping that next years convention will work into my schedule.

I did not get a chance to take much for photos- SO IF ANYBODY HAS PHOTOS THEY CAN POST OR EMAIL TO ME.

I did not see any other discussions about the convention- Lets here from other members that attended, so new members can see what they are missing!

THANK YOU,
Randy www.spectrumranch.net

Out of the question for me to attend a convention from France unless I win the lottery.....but I can dream.......
I am intrigued by the plastic 'boots' is this to stop cross contamination between peafowl farms?

You're right on target, Josephine. This is common practice at all the conventions, as well as on breeders' property. Boots are distributed as guests arrive.

We attended the UPA Convention also, and, as usual, had a great time! Bob and Dianna were exceptional hosts, delivering "one of the best" conventions we've had. It's always so nice to visit old friends, and even nicer to meet for new attendees, and for all to be able to go to the Convention and be able to put "a face with a name." Looking forward to Fort Collins, CO next year!!!
