What kind of screening is that on yours? Do you have a Coop for them? _________________ 2 Ameraucana Rooster, 2 Rhode Island Red Hens

The back half is covered with a roof and enclosed on the sides and back, I just posted a few more pictures I took today, just click that same link above for the set of all the pictures on Flickr.
The black mesh screen is on the sides and roof,
The mesh I used is made of tightly woven industrial grade polyethylene that will also block out up to 70% of the sun’s UV rays, so it will keep the birds safer, plus it's tightly woven so predators can't poke in and the Peacocks can't poke their heads out. I believe it was some kind of mesh tarp. They also have two 2x4 perches to roost on, one is under the roof in the back and the other is in the middle. There's also a saw horse they like to jump and sit on when I feed them, I covered the ground in straw for the winter and still have a bail of it in there, during the day they like to lay on it. _________________ -Kim-

Hello
your aviaries is nice but for a pair peacock I think they is not big enough. That the peacocks feel a little good I think 80 square meter is the minimum. |

Hi Joe! We are located in south central PA, close to Gettysburg, if you know where that is, it's Adams county. We do try to let everyone take turns free ranging, too many to let them all out at once, so we have done the chicken thing. Out during the day, back in to roost at night if they want dinner. Different group each time _________________ "Life is Good" |
